Tiny but tasty

Aloba Foods is a food company focused on culinary innovation and nature’s own foodtech. By combining Nordic ingredients from both land and sea, Aloba has carved out a unique position in the plant-based food market — in terms of taste, nutrition, and climate impact. For some time, we have had the honor of serving as Aloba’s extended marketing department. In connection with the launch of their new vegan deli balls, we wanted to create something new, something extra.

How do you launch a new vegan product in a way that both evokes emotion and makes a difference? For Aloba, a small player with big ambitions, we created A Tiny Art Fair: an art auction where small artworks symbolized both Aloba’s deli balls and the small steps that lead to big change. All proceeds were donated in full to WWF.

Five artists interpreted the slogan ‘tiny but tasty’ and created everything from a miniature clay taco to a kitchen made of tube beads. The works were auctioned on Tradera and shared via Aloba’s, Tradera’s, and the artists’ own channels. The combination of product launch, art, and charity gave Aloba a unique platform to talk about sustainable food innovation in a new way.

Just like Aloba’s deli balls are small but full of flavor, A Tiny Art Fair was a small initiative with significant impact. The campaign demonstrated that a product launch can make a difference beyond sales by contributing to the climate cause, strengthening the brand, and creating an emotional connection with the audience. The artists who participated in A Tiny Art Fair were Johan Karlgren, bead artist; Fanny Schultz, ceramicist; Karin Ohlsson, illustrator; David Jildenäs, clay artist; and Caroline Båth, jewelry designer.
